Need some input from you all that live up there....

I have a friend ( shut up, Rick :err:) that lives in Belvedere,IL. He is a street rider with a '05 Road King that he wants to have some mild mods done to ( Pipes, Power Commander, Stage 1 Kit, etc) and doesn't want to get bent over by the local Harley Shop on labor, etc.

Do you any of ya' ll know of a shop that I can point him to? It is a little crazy to bring it all the way down here when I am sure there is shop up there that will do it right and for reasonable rate.

thanks
Mark

If it is carburetored order parts online or what ever shop supplies you with race parts can get you the after market harley parts.
but i would assume its fuel injected so do the same thing but just have a dealer map it

Mark,

Thought for sure I'd see you Tuesday night when I was working the Hannah Montana concert.  Figured you'd be in town on a talent search.

Love ya!  :kissy:

go to speed tech motorsports, its a little bit of a drive but well worth it, have it worked on by a experienced racer who knows what he is doing, also has a dyno

we are talking about a Harley road king
theres no need to dyno one
in all my years of working for Harley dealers and after market shops there was no real need to dyno there bikes
any performance work is a waste of time. if you want to change the pipes for the sound go for it but other then that dont waste the money.
unless your building a drag bike performance doesn't do anything but waste fuel on a harley. and this is coming from a person with a garage full of them

If he would hook a chain to it and pull it with a Honda... that'd really help the performance
