Looks like they are fixing the go-cart section. Question is will CCS run the new configuration? I hope so, looks like a huge improvement. Now to keep that beach sand from blowing on the track.
The garages and new pavement in the paddock will be a nice addition as well. They built a new scoring tower and have wifi access as well. Thank you new management!

They are making the new part for us to use. Hopefully it will help us to stay out of the bumps and stuff the car guys create.

It should be fun with that long turn to drift the rear through

Wow that is really cool.  I loved CMP, one of my favorite new tracks that I rode in 2006, the only thing I would have changed was those three turns, they never seemed to flow well and the last turn onto the front straight was a tricky one.

If I'm not running a full series I'm probably not going to hit anything beyond VIR, however, I did REALLY like CMP so put me down as a maybe, I'll try to get down there.

One condition, we get down early and hit up Charlotte again!

There are a couple of places around here we ride. That is the biggest. We also have one called Enoree. It's near where  26 and 385 come together. Theres also Manchester near Wedgefield SC. Not to far from Sumter.

BTW, to get back on subject.

I worked my way into a tour of the upgrades yesterday. The garages are close to being done. The should have two 20 plugs per bay and will be big enough to fit a lot of bikes. If the prices aren't affordable, you need more friends.

The paddock roads are paved, and they even covered the ones way out in the back with the millings from the track. No need to wast that stuff. They are also doing the same thing for a path to and from tech. That should help out a lot.

They are putting really big patches to fix the bumps, basically replacing the turns. We should be good going on and off of all of them.

The new part is going to be really really fast. It is a big right handed sweeper that we will probably enter in second and leave in forth, close to fifth. The last turn has been adjusted so it's not as sharp. They gave use some more pavement on the inside to work with.

They are really putting a lot of effort into making it better for us. They want more Motorcycle business. I'm keeping an ear out for when they start doing their club trackdays so I can get out there and ride it.

I hear they still have some of the discounted club memberships available
