I know it's not as funny but mine is no serious injuries to roadracers.  It's making me way too old way too quick.

Maybe some of the tracks will help make that a reality as well.  :thumb:

It all comes down to technique Rick, kind of like you being the Smite master, not everyone can achieve such monumental status. This reminds me of a boss of mine where I work, he says "If you can't overwhelm them with information, baffle them with bullshit!" It's also about making a response that's more of a short story than just a simple yes or no type answer that can be misinterpreted and lead to the 'he said - she said" type battles we see so often based on a wrong interpretation of what was said. With a short story, non-A.D.D. readers are often compelled to keep reading to find out what happens next, because of that you get to make your point more clearly and any response to it will be appropriate. Simple facts or statistics not tied together to create a flowing story can become boring very quickly, not that I'm saying my stories are the most interesting, but they usually do have a point that I've made by the end with the information in the middle being relevant to making that point more clear. Another benefit of a short story response is that your bound to piss off somebody somewhere in it or reveal something that sends a thread in a whole new direction and keeps a thread interesting. Hell I could let it out of the bag that you have an Alpacha that you dress up in a leather biker outfit and shoot kinky Alpacha bondage porno with  :spank:  and sure enough we'll have someone bitching from the animal rights groups, people against porn, and some warped individuals wanting copies of the video and asking if you take requests in shooting future video?  :wtf:

You see, that wasn't that difficult, I have over a 300 word response and I put several things in my short story that are bait to inspire future responses.  :thumb:

Oh ya, Happy New Year everyone!!!

(You too Rick  :ass:    )

Chaplains personal diary...so, I thought we were making some headway going in to 2008, then I found the alpacha tapes :err: .    Happy new year, and courage for all the trials that 08 will bring.

I hear you there, I'm a Tool & Die Maker. The bad thing in '08 is that it's a Presidential Election year, based on the trend we've seen that will most likely lower production demands later in the year as businesses wait to see if a Republican or Democrat will be in charge. The way we understand it is that Republican's usually help manufacturing businesses by offering incentives and tax breaks but offer less hand-outs to the general population, with the Democrats it's more about the hand-outs to the general public and not the incentives to the manufacturing businesses. Sadly the end result is that alot of the remaining manufacturing may end up going overseas if the Dem's are in charge again, the Clinton Presidency was the worst thing to happen to manufacturing as a whole in US history. During that time almost ALL the Tool & Die shops in the Rockford area closed their doors due to the majority of manufacturing going overseas - mainly to China (Rockford was the former Tool & Die capital of the world). The shop I've worked at for almost 20 years got somewhat lucky because we were diversified in different fields of metal stamping and were able to do the big and heavy work that most other shops couldn't do due to lack of equipment - for example our largest punch press is capable of about 9 Million pounds of stamping force.

We'll have to wait and see and hope and pray for the best for US Manufacturing in 2008.

Yes the company's that learned to run lean and continued to provide specialized services may survive ,but I must worry about #1 my family .The economy has left our pay scale in the dust .In my opinion the people in our trades are second to nun when it comes to creativity, ingenuity and the future of being a  self sufficient country .
GOD be with us if this advantage is lost
