I thought it was in '98 on the new generation 6R, but I can't remember.  I believe the problem later was appealed.  Yeah, Todd rode for Muzzy after that.  Didn't end up the same as his previous year.

Todd raced for Muzzy in 1997.  He had a great season in 1996 with 4&6. If I remember right he had some broken bones in his wrist in '97 that were not detected until late in the season that gave him problems.

If Chicago wasn't 8 hours away I'd go...anyway we've got too many sheep around here to leave though...

What is the basic skill set assumed?  Hard core racer, will the trackday rider be overwhelmed?

I vote for suspension setup as a topic.

Super Dave

The last one I was at with Jim had AMA road racers and guys that were going to be new track day riders.

Attard has been steadily getting better with each round and scored a season best fifth at Pikes Peak. His Attack Kawasaki has the kind of power that could put him in a real position to win at Road America. If he does he would be the first privateer rider to win the race since Todd Harrington did it on a Kawasaki in 1996.   (taken from roadracing world)

I believe I was there that day.

I had a good time Saturday..... As always - Jim was a comedian - and I thought there was a lot of valuable information for everyone..... I'm willing to bet everyone walked away having learned at least one thing they didn't know before.... Even if it was only that I went through 7 sets of boots last season :)
