Oh my God!  I can't breathe and tears are running down my face.  I pride myself as a writer, but I don't think I've ever written anything that good.  I've gotta go pee!  Thanks for putting a great finish on an otherwise miserable day!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Seriously funny.

In fact, I would edit it a bit and submit it for syndication...maybe Time or Newsweek or some other general interest Magazine or Newspaper would pick it up.
