Well I had a couple gift cards for Circuit City so I decided to have an alarm installed on my truck. So I take my truck down to the Columbus Ga Circuit City buy the alarm and make an appointment to have it installed on the following Monday. So I drop the truck off Sunday afternoon and tell them to call me when it is done on Monday. So about 4pm Monday they call and I head up there after work. Well I spent the entire day out at the M16/M4 range teaching young privates how to shoot so needless to say I was a little tired. So I get to the shop around 6pm and the truck is parked outside. So I take a look at it and everything looks and works fine. So I go in and sign the paperwork.

Well on the ride home I felt something hit my left foot. Well I didn't think of anything of it until I tried to shift gears. I tried to push the clutch in and it wouldn't go all the way in. Then I felt a bunch of wires all around my feet. So now I'm driving 65 mph down 185 with wires all over my feet. So I get the truck pulled over and stopped. Turns out the entire alarm had fallen out of the dash. So I moved everything out of the way and made my way home. So I get my truck in the garage and look under the dash. Well the friggen tool that put the alarm in just crammed it up in the dash hoping it would be ok. Then I noticed that I could not find the vale switch. Turns out the guy wrapped the wire and switch up and dropped it behind the molding. So I took a bunch of pictures with my phone and headed into the shop the following day. So I got in and asked to speak to the manager. When the guy came out I explained everything that happened and he acted like I was lien. So I took my phone out and showed him the pictures. At this point his attitude changed and he went to find out who installed the alarm. Well the guys comes back and tells me that I need to bring the truck back in and the entire job will be redone. I told the guy "Ya screw that, you guys screwed my truck up once. I'm not letting you touch it again." So the manager asked me what I would like to be done. So I told him either give me my money for the install back or fire the guy that put the alarm in. So the manager said "Don't worry this is not the first complaint we have had about this tec and he is packing his tools up right now and I'll get your money right away". So about ten minutes later the manager gives me my money and I head out the front door. Well the retard that installed the alarm was walking around to the parking lot when I was getting in my truck. So I unlock my truck and the door. Well as I swung the door open I saw in the mirror that this guy was over to me with his tool belt in his hand. So I turn to right and the guy is about five feet away. Well it looked like he was going to say something but he just stopped then turned around and walked back to his car. So I thought that was strange hoped in my truck and drove home. So the hole ride home I was wondering what the guy was going to do and why he just turned around and walked off. Well I walk in the front door of the house and my wife asked how everything went. So I told her what happened. I also told her that I was wondering why the guy just turned around and walked off. Well my wife says "I know why he walked off!" I was like "WHY, please school me if you are so smart!" So my wife smiles and says "I don't think I would say shit to a guy with a gun hanging out of his shirt, would you?" Well I looked down and sure as crap my shirt was pulled up over my pistol. It must have pulled up when I reached up into the truck to climb in. Then when I turned he caught sight of it. I guess the guy figured his pliers wouldn't hold up to my Kimber .45! :lmao:

what else would you expect from a guy that has to install stereo stuff at circuit city... they aren't typically the smartest guys buy even they know not to bring pliers to a gun fight.

Hey, I was that guy for 5-6 years. I was a lead installer at one of the ones in Columbia, SC. Then I got a job that paid better with less hours.

It was a kewl single guy just out of high school job.

They don't get the smartest applicants. I had a guy apply to be an instalationists once. I talked to him enough when he dropped off his app that I never interviewed him. I didn't want to be responsible for him.

Kimber ultra carry. Mat black, stock sites formed grip. Best dam gun on the planet. Even if I miss you the flame out the end of the barrel will burn you.
