Yeah, even from the outside, things have been strange.

As a member, I'm often disappointed with them.  I wish it was different.

I've known Larry since my early AMA days, which I think started just a little before his.  This will be interesting to see shake out, and I always hope for the best.

Sounds like Dingman is a Dictator...
Who is Dingman and what is his background?
On what basis are the firings?

Just Google his name and you'll get info, but not on the firings. I'm hoping there will be some disclosure on those firings also.

I know membership is at an all time high for AMA but it's still pitiful for the number of riders in the country. That is directly related to AMA preaching to the choir. They put AMA booths at the AMA events but where else do you see them??? They also need to advertise in other bike publications. They depend on AMA ambassadors (volunteers) to get the word out for them and It's not working.

As for the magazine........well I personally think it's a little bland and could use some updating. I know it's a family magazine, printed for the entire family to read so there are limitations to what they can do but it just seems most of the time it's like reading a Reader's Digest.
Not very interesting.
