Daytona pre-entry fees CCS 130 for first then 90 for each additional includes gates pass
ASRA 100 does not include gate pass

Tent camping had been included with your race credential(gate pass) the last couple of years and I expect that to continue but do not have camping info at this time.

Track maps are included in the track information pages from the CCS main website. The new horseshoe and pit lane are not on the spring map configuration unsure if/when we will get an update for that.

Is it double points?

ahastings

Looks like they made CMP double points instead this year according to the schedule, maybe to get more riders to come there.

I don't think this reflects the new layout of the International Horseshoe, but it's basically accurate.

Thanks buddy. That is exactly what I needed.

Why do we not use this configuration for the ROC ??

fatboy122

They spread all the races for CCS over the three days..i raced the AM mwss, mwsb, hwss and hwsb and raced sat and sun..if i wouldve entered the GT races then i wouldve been racing on Frid as well..

did anyone download last year's daytona schedule?  it appears that it has been removed from the ccs website.  i'd like to take a look at it to get an idea of when the LW races will take place.  --justin

The AMA uses that configuration to lessen the amount of time the bikes are building heat into the left side of the tire (because they had some catostrophic tire failures on the banking while WFO due to the HP of those bikes). The inconvenience of that layout is that you have to cross over the racing surface to use the new Semi tunnel under Turn 1 if you want to leave the facility or go outside to registration, which mainly means you have to have guard(s) there the entire event to let people across between races (with the 'traditional' layout you can use that entrance/exit without guards at any time). Another advantage to CCS using the same layout as the AMA in the spring is only having to set-up all the safety stuff once (hay bails, Air Fence, etc.) for both organizations (and AHRMA as well?). By CCS using the AMA layout in the spring, and the 'traditional' layout in the fall for the ROC, it provides variety for those who attend both races (it really does make it quite different). Another factor is by using 2 different layouts this helps to keep the 'bitchability factor' down for all those who complain every season about the unfair advantage Florida riders have with the ROC being located in their Region - since CCS only races there during Bike Week in the spring and then for the ROC in the fall it's not like the Florida Region racers having some huge advantage by racing on it all season, because they don't.
