What day is amateur heavyweight superbike usually held?  I am thinking about doing that class along with amateur middleweight gp.  Maybe I should ask what races are held on Fridays instead? Because that is the day I am hoping to race

Team Zyvax was pitted in front of us at the Inaugural Moto ST 8 hr, Pirelli was the spec tire, Supercorsas slicks, I'm not sure how long their last tire endured, but it was way past due for a change, but it made to the end. The chords on the left side were burned through, you could almost see the air in it, had to be scary.
I'd say unless your track day was brutal, you could take it down to the wear indicators at least.
Of coarse there's nothing like a fresh set.

beyond the 50 dollar entry fees, is there an additional camping fee?

The TC sounds like a fun race.

As far as the entry fees go, Daytona is outrageous. Daytona is double points, right?

No, Daytona is not a double points weekend. At least on the schedule its not listed as double points.

I thought the entry was $110.00  don't know what the camping is but sure it's not free. don't forget it's the experence your paying for at least 20 years from now your kids can tell your grandkids hell your grandpa or grandma raced at daytona onbikes that ran on gas .and you can go on and tell them how those nascar drivers are a bunch of pussies .

Toves33

I believe its $110 for the first race entry, but it a little less for each additional one that you enter.

I haven't been there in many years. How is it set up for pits. I have an enclosed trailer, can I just drop it and leave it there and pit out of it as opposed to renting a garage. i already paid for a camping spot for my RV over by Lake Lloyd. That was $600 for 10 days which will cover the CCS races and the AMA weekend and has water, elect, and cable tv hookups.

last spring .. you could drop your trailer in designated spots inside the pits and work from there all weekend. no need to rent a garage, they are nice if it rains or a wind storm blows through. just be ready to get out in a hurry .. they lock the pits after the last race and the Geritol natzi's don't play around. Arnie you will be a young man compared to the guards at daytona.

I don't think this reflects the new layout of the International Horseshoe, but it's basically accurate.
