Yes, they are mandetory for WERA for 2008, as I understand it.

Regardless, it's a cool idea for a bad situation on a particular motorcycle.  Just like case guards on some bikes.  Even if they aren't mandetory, it's just a good idea.

I agree that it's a good idea for that bike, given the history.  I'm a little unsure about his self promotion in the general section and asking about legality for 2008.  Don't we have a classified section for that?

Yeah, but it is a reasonable question for those that race in both organizations or might cross over not knowing that the rules are a little different regardless.

Additionally, I don't see him pushing any exciting links like me in his signature or in his www contact area either.
