I got my tickets, corner 7 terrace .
But it don't say anything about my camping pass I ordered :wtf:

Only processed the tickets for $207. Is camping not being awarded yet? has anyone got their camping pass?

I have, but I am a previous customer for both tickets and camping. I even got the spots in the lot I requested. Smite away.

This is based on my experience camping at IMS for the F1 races.

Note - all camping is dry camping - no hookups.
All services are by outside vendors. You will get a brochure explaining the services a few weeks before the race.
They have shower facilities that are set up for the weekend - that is these are not permanent facilities. Do not recall the cost.
RV tanks can be drained, call the provided number, a truck shows up to drain tanks. ISTR it being about $20/per call.
RV water - you can purchase bulk water to fill your tank. It is listed as not potable water - it is done for insurance reasons - they do not know the condition of your tank - the water is Indianapolis drinking water.
Ice - you can have ice delivered - there are other ice vendors - it will not be as cheap as the local store.
There is some food delivery available - mostly pizza. Can call local places and see if they will deliver. There are many vendors along Georgetown.

I called the ticket office today and confirmed I have three general admission tickets.  WHOO HOOO....  :thumb:

They have not yet assigned all the camping at this time and expect to do so in the next few weeks.  Then we should see a charge on our CC.

We've been assigned South Vista 1-5 and they actually called Stumpy to see if P3 is ok with him for our RV camping!  Ummmm--yeaahhhh.  I was getting nervous that we wouldn't get RV space as we put in our request later.  No charges yet, but it's showing on our Indy account.

Less than a year!! Yay!!!

YEAH, looks like all tickets are assigned and they are just working on trying to get camping spots assigned based on what you need and what would put you closest to your seats.

Not sure about anyone else from the MidWest area, but I am already excited about this event.

Thanks for the additional information on the camping, Brian.  I called Indy and cancelled my camping reservation and picked up two motorcycle parking permits.  There are a couple of campgrounds close to the track with full amenities with swimming, fishing, golf, etc.  We will be staying an extra day or two there to make it a more enjoyable vaction.

We'll take the street bikes along and drive to the track (it's about 25 miles).
