She's got a big honkin' cast on her arm for her broken finger. Any bets on how long that will last?

What part of her finger did she break?

I had a boxer fracture on my pinky and ring finger last yr. I had a cast (and pins) to just past my knuckles to about a inch or so from my elbow. They did trim back my cast a couple of times to help with regaining movement and PT. But 8 weeks later it came off. And then about a month of PT after that to get all the flexability back.

Hope she heals up quick!

Sorry to hear it Alexa...  Good to hear she's making good progress and in the grand scheme of things it's not all that bad.  Race on Rhiannon!

I got to see Rhiannon at the hospital, sittin in a chair smiling, bandaged from top to bottom, and she had a message to bring back to everyone..."I'll be back tomorrow for practice!!!"  Now that's a roadracer!  Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Team_Serpent

Sorry to hear, wishing you a speedy recovery Rhiannon!

Well, she didn't practice, obviously. ;) She is doing better.

She'll be in Milwaukee staying with Mommie for a few weeks. She was supposed to fly to Italy next week, but you can't fly when you've recently had a collapsed lung, so she's grounded.

She gets to bug me though, and I'm sure Grandma will have some home cooked Italian to fatten her up.

Do or do not, there is no "try".

Heal up! I saw her getting interviewed Sunday by the Daytona announcer on pit road during the Thunderbike race caution. She's a true racer! :thumb:
