Yeah, WERA rules require tha the snorkel be in the air box, and you can't use SV tank spacers.  There were no complaints after qualifying, but it's still my fault.

I needed to have taller gearing.  The wind changed, and I was running right at red line into the dip at the back going into ten.

Was fun, though.  I haven't been to a GNF since 1987, and I've received invitations to Suzuki Cup Finals since 1989.  It was something I wanted to do, and it's a lot of work getting Atlanta figured out.  I have a little time left that I could have certainly used, but I got into the 32's, which was better than I expected of myself.

Saturday night, I had a huge dizziness episode that had me in bed with a garbage can next to me.  I don't know if it was something that I ate that I'm allergic to or what, but it kind of took the wind out of my sails.  On Sunday morning, I was wishing that we had the race on Saturday...LOL!

I'm looking forward to getting home now.  We're at Heartland Park Topeka right now.

Wow Dave!  Don't you hate the drive back?  I'm glad we didn't have to do that very often.
Never interrupt your opponent while he's making a mistake.

Super Dave

LOL!  Yeah, it kinda sucks.

I'm back here next Monday on the 22nd also.

I live in Eagle, Wisconsin, and that's near Milwaukee.

Being a racer, well, I have friends in a lot of different places.  Part of the attraction of racing, really.  Doesnt' matter where I go to race, I always run into people I know.
