Hi

The Pirelli contingency site still says they are still waiting for CCS to send results for the August 11-12 Barber Race. Is this correct, or did i get missed?

Thanks
Charlie

Been sent for a long time now.

If you can use this form I can investigate for you. http://www.ccsracing.us/forms/2007/contingency/contingency%20status%20report%20form.pdf

The only races not currently sent are the most recent Blackhawk, New Hampshire and VIR from the last week and a half. Most sposnors take a couple of weeks to process after they receive it and that is 10-14 days after an event.

Eric -- is it possible to check on this.  My Pirelli site says that its waiting for results on races going back to May. If it doesn't get resolved, given the end of year deadline to use contingency, ... its going to expire before I get it.

I cannot look at anyone's individual accounts only the reports sent out from here at the office.

If you can fill out he form linked above I can research it.

For whatever reason alot of people wait until the end of the season to notice they did not receive contingency which if there was mistake made either by the rider, CCS/ASRA, or the sponsor it can be too late to resolve. Most sponsors have a 2 month window max in which to resolve disputes.

I know my inbox is going to be full after this post but if you have not received anything there is probably an error either in address or being sure procedures are followed/classes competed in for contingency.

There is not a set year end deadline for Pirelli contingency.   The last cards I received are good through next March.  I think it may be setup so that the cards expire 6-8 months from the time they are issued.

Can I sell my card to another racer so that he can use the card to buy tires?
Thanks, Bob

One thing to note about the pirelli contingency. I figured since it was a prepaid Amex card I could use it anywhere. I tried to buy some pirelli tires from NESBA......declined!

Come to find out you can only use the prepaid amex card at certain approved vendors. The vendor in the southeast of course being Moose. This is great during race season but it would be nice if I could use the money to buy pirellis elsewhere for track days.........I do however understand the logic........just thought i'd bitch a little. :)
