Jesse put the Kawasaki 650R on the podium in the expert twins class during the AMA Ford Quality Checked Flat Track Championship at
Monticello Raceway - Monticello, NY September 15, 2007. Good job man! You're a fast and very talented rider.

Cheers!

Speaking of, when if ever, was there a Kawasaki on the podium during an AMA Pro Flat Track event? I'm going to say never.

Marsolais

Congrats Jesse, why to show people that Kawasaki can will races. Even if I have crossed over to Red.

Congrats to Bill Werner for another milestone as well.  Winningest tuner in AMA flat track history.

Go back to the 2 stroke triple days of the early to mid 70's, maybe.  Yes, before the TZ700 monster King Kenny rode to it's historic win at Springfield, MEN were trying to make those wild Kawi air-cooled triple 750s work on the ovals too.  Erv Kanemoto and Gary Nixon are 2 recongizable names involved at the time.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

Well, they did put Freddie and Eddie on H1 powered dirt trackers.

In the early 80's, Kawasaki had contingency available and Bubba Shoebert did really well.  Wasn't in twins, but it was a Kaw.

Nice job, Jesse!
