Yet another points question

I couldm't find anything on point via search, so I'm hoping someone can answer this

If I'm calculating correctly, my finishes this in HWSS and GTO weekend at BHF should have brought me to 391 points. I was then taken out in the first lap of HWSB and missed ULGP. Now, since I did in fact grid up and start in HWSB, and my name would be on the result sheet, are any points given for that?
The only reason I ask is because even a dead last finish would put me over the 400 point mark, presumably leading to white plates next year.  I'd like to try running Moto-St, which requires an Expert CCS license and I'm trying to figure out where I stand in that regard.

Call or email CCS in Texas for verification of your points. They will have the definitive answer.

Do or do not, there is no "try".

you can also petition to move up to expert without the required points...

you don't  get any points if you don't complete a lap which affects your performance index

If you crossed the scoring loop once you will be given points for that race. If you were listed on the results at the track that means you crossed the scoring loop and will get those points.

Thanks for the clarifications, y'all. Looks like I'll have to petition. How does that work? I can't find any procedure outlined in the rules

I would think just plead your case in a letter and send it in to the office  Explain your finishes, your points, and where you would have been had you been able to finish... If you had decent results you should get the nod.
