I tell ya, from what I've been hearing, he's been working overtime to recover from that crash.

Do or do not, there is no "try".

Shawn is a racer.  Crash, get up, move on, race.

Yeah, but he had a broken pelvis, a leg broken in two spots, and 2 damaged shoulders. He didn't think that the therapy he was getting was sufficient, so he ramped it up at home and that is the only reason he made such a remarkable recovery.

This guy is tenacious personified.

It's old school.  I've worked with someone trying to race with a broken pelvis.  I remember Mike Harth racing with a broken femur at the Suzuki Cup Final.

I'm glad he feels comfortable and excited to go do it.  Hope it goes well for everyone.

Me too. Fortunately, it's an endurance ride, so if he's really hurting, he'll only do 100% instead of 110%.

Just hope he's not rushing it. Another incident and he could be in real trouble.

Good luck to everyone at Daytona!!
