I have only run WERA events in the past and have some questions about "Number Displays".
The CCS rulebook states in 5.3.5 A that front display may be painted only if of adequate size or you must mount a 10x12 plate.  What is "adequate"? I currently have approx 9x8 painted area and have a two digit CCS number.

Secondly, I have a Honda 600RR with a carbon fiber underseat muffler, do I need to mount the transponder in another location besides top of the rear cowl?  In WERA its mounted up front on the fork tube.

Thanks

Transponders have to be mounted in the rear. Some mount them on the rear hugger. Try it on top of the tail. Most likely will work. If it doesnt, then move it to the hugger.
