There were a lot of comments regarding #188 this weekend and his lean angle.  Here's a pic taken at AMA Road Atlanta.  I believe his name was announced as Levin, but according to AMA it's Chad Lewin.  Helmet slider needed???

Coming thru T6 he was even further over than this. Amazing body position and fast as heck!

Sitting up in T4 after lunch I could swear his head was just about hitting his front fork coming down the chute.  Amazing body control and balance to lean over as much as he does.

Jeff

looks fine to me.  Low center of gravity and keeping the mass of his body parallel but off the bike.

That picture does no justice to how much lower he actually was at Summit.

And yes it was great to watch and he looked in total control at all times.

Kuala76

Yes he was in control at all times, and no the pic doesn't do justice to the way he looked in the carousel (that was the only view I got this weekend)

I think this is the guy that disappeared from view a couple times, he was so far over it looked like the bike had no rider!

It is pretty spectacular to see what appears to be a ghost bike.

Since I have the same helmet as him, does that make me fast too...?

Oh wait, no it makes me look slow... dam it Rick Wu!

How do they do it?
Why do they do it?
Riding, and crashing, and riding, and winning
And always faster, and faster, and faster!

Yes it is Lewin. Chad has an interesting riding style, kind of like Ben Thompson. And he is very fast.  Expect to see him doing more AMA next year as a very talented young rider.
