Hey Mike, maybe you can "entice" Racer #911 to update us on his condition???  BTW - Tyler asked me what bike went down in my turn.  I told him 911 - and he promptly responded " SO you had to 911!" he laughed hysterically at himself (although that could have something to do with the amount of SUGAR he gets while he's at the track) :lmao:

I PM'ed Bobby and he said after visiting the DR he indeed had broken his ankle and still pressed on in 3 more races after his get off in T5.  DR also said his season was over but Bobby seemed to think differently.  He's hoping for a removeable cast.

:lmao: :lmao: Maybe he needs to see the Moto GP doctor... he can fix em up and throw em back better than any!!!!

I was SHOCKED to hear him being called as "last bike" on a siting lap only moments after his wreck!

Riding on a broke ankle I'm wondering if maybe we should suggest he see a different kind of doctor altogether.   :ahhh: :lmao:

Just kidding Bobby, nice show of nuts and determination to get back out there.

thanks, guys.  maybe i should have read this thread before starting the other one.

it was kinda funny, actually.  i was sitting there with a cold pack on my ankle and heard first call for race 9.  the conversation went something like:

friend:  are you going out?
me:  is the bike back together?
friend:  it will be in 1 minute.
me:  give me my leathers!

then one minute later, my friends are putting me on the bike and i barely make it out in time for the warm-up lap.  let's just say that the feeling in my ankle was slightly unpleasant to say the least, especially muscling the bike around 7, 8 and 9.  i also had to use my whole leg to shift, because i couldn't flex my ankle.  it was interesting.

btw, whenever somebody asks me why my number is 911, i tell them it's so that the cornerworkers know what # to call when i crash.

Bobby you got balls bro.

Bob, thanks for coming out and racing giving us something to do and great to see you posting after a get off.  Did you walk away with any injuries at all?  Was this the 4 bike pile up?  Looked like a motorcycle junkyard when I got there with the crash truck with pieces everywhere if it was.
