Just wanted to say great racing at the Shenandoah this weekend!  Lloyd Bailey set a new track record, shattering the old record by almost a whole second!  Of course Arnie Hastings went out and made his usual star appearances as well as Travis and Art Diaz .  Congrats to all who were out there and thanks for another great weekend of racing!  :thumb: :thumb:

Also kudos to CCS Officials, despite the weather and the other various incidents, they kept things flowing smoothly!

It really was a fun weekend, despite needing a vacation in Hell to cool off on Saturday!

Lloyd....all I can say is DAYUM...Runs off the course then breaks a record while trying to catch the pack. That is amazing.

I have some great pics of everybody. I hope to have them on my site as well ass the CCS Gallery by the end of the week!

He actually broke the record the lap BEFORE he ran off (the first time)...he went down- low side in turn 4-5, picked up his bike got back on track and continued on to take 4th place!  Maybe someone should have put out a pit board "BAILEY - RECORD SET"!!!  He had pretty much guaranteed a new record by the end of the weekend  :thumb:

lol.  personally i would rather have all of Wilkey's 1st place finishes and contingency payments then Bailey's record (and I bet Bailey wouold too!)

that kid was unbelievable running a 1000 around a course built for 600's like that, and all those walls and dirt covered turns, damn that was amazing.  no one's ever been that fast there on a 1000.

and that time of bailey's is a bit suspicious since he was running about 2 tenths behind Wilkey during the entire lap when he supposedly set the record, how did he run a second faster on his butt the entire lap without ever passing him?   weird.

anyway, don't get me wrong, they were both amazing to watch, but it was Wilkey's performance that really stood out.  my hats off to that kid, he deserves way more credit than he gets.

Is Lloyd a member on here? This past weekend was my first time meeting him. Right off the bat I thought the guy was nothing short of amazing. He's a super nice guy and he's got some drive! Plus he took a couple of minutes out of his day to teach me about suspension and forks  :thumb:

Congrats Lloyd!
