Trackside Engineering rocks. i don't think he has a real shop. but he sets up shop at the tracks. come to blackhawk in september for the ccs race and he'll be there. big orange canopy. can't miss him.
and scott's is good. so is GPR.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOOOHOOO! What a freaken ride"

I have been told ken@superbikeitalia.com is an ole jet mechanic turned OHLINS mid west supplier-I handed over my speedwerks tuned suspension tragedy- so i can get my hybrid SV  back to a less lifethreatening ride-I have been told by senior listers here that s'all good- he and wife Holly measured  me and my bike at POCONO ( speedwerks STEVE's entire measuring consisted of nothing but "we know what you weigh" It is a tough thing to trust a good outcome of-suspension work,so good luck, but i trust the words of my favorite leathermaker(?) and the well known author (?)...email your needs to ken  have a chat- he is REALcustomer service friendly- I".ll post up the outcome of handling when its done and i can finally get back to the starting line. ... -

Plus one for Ed at Trackside engineering.  Great guy, knows his shit, gives you honest and complete answers about what will work best for you, your riding, your bike, and your budget.

Dampeners?  I picked up a pit bull.  Relatively cheap compared to others...very simple design and adjustment..and one of the better looking ones if you care about that sort of think.

Call Lithium Motorsports. (712) 546-7747

You won't find a "local" shop that's well versed in suspension or race bike prep.
Nevermind the distance, shipping is cheap, and Lithium will be trackside at midwest CCS events where you need them most.

Racing is their business, not a hobby or side project. I've been dealing with them since I started racing and I've always been taken care of.
