Since he was behind me it is way harder for me to see him than him to see me.  Since we are showing pictures I guess I will throw some up as well.  Here are the pix of the rubber on the bike.  I have rubber going from the swingarm all the way to the front fender.  I did not start crashing untill I was in the grass and away from spud.

I think spud and I have both come to the determination that it was just a racing incident but its hard to believe that all that rubber came from his rear tire when he has a big ass muffler in the way.  No worrys.  Done for the year and have to heal up for next year.  Its racing and this sort of stuff happens.  It would be nice to get an account of what happened from the T2 corner worker.

ok, maybe you can help me understand this.  Yes I could see you up until the point I commited to the pass.  I took the inside line while you were off someplace to my right and I was pretty sure I was already passed you but couldn't see you until you impacted me because I was looking at T3.  There are no bodywork scratches that I can see on the front right of my bike, my leg and tail were hit.  Something forced me down, I didn't just fall off mid corner.  My left frame slider ground down.  I tumbled quite a bit.  Once my bike it the grass it cartwheeled smashing the tank, the front fairing stay and upper, cracking the rear subframe in a number of places.  I'm really curious how you didn't see me or crash until you hit the grass.  I think we both might be a little unclear on some of the events from the lumps we took and I think as you said it was simply an unfortunate racing event.  My rear tire is the only one that looks shaved if you compare it to the front but that's neither here nor there.  Maybe eviled98 will post up here and shed some light on the crash.  Heal up bro and hopefully we can have more fun next year.

Right when we made contact I got the bike stood up and headed towards the grass.  For some reason it seems like the guy on the inside helps keep the guy on the outside up in a crash like that.  Just look at the crash between Hopkins and Hayden at Laguna.  Hopkins hit hayden and hayden stayed up while Hopkins fell down.  Just using this as an example.  I dont think we will ever know exactly what happened unless there is video.  Trust me If I would have seen you I wouldnt have hit you!!!  Expecialy in 2!!  The only time I saw you was when we made contact on the track.  I stood the bike up and went into the grass and that is where my crash realy began.  I will look at this as a learning experience and keep in mind that as a slower expert when the fast am's start passing me I will be more mindful and leave the inside more open.  Sorry it happened.  I am done on the topic since it seems we are about to get into a pissing match and that is not what I want to happen.  Take care and see you next year.  It would be nice if the cornerworker would chime in but what happened happened.  I am out of work for a while and im sure you are too.  We'll just have to wait untill next year!!
