Modify my subframe

Hi all, After doing some track days this year, i will race next year. This will be in MiddleWeight SuperSport, on my GSXR600. My question is when I mount up my race bodywork, can I (legally) cut off some or none of subframe? As in can I knock off things like helmet hooks, or can I take off the whole rear seat area (since my race glass does not need this for mounting), or can I not touch it at all, which is what the rule book leads me to believe.

You can hack up you "sub" frame to your hearts content and still be SS legal.  You just CAN'T touch your actual frame.
