All,

Here's a little over half of the CCS race 8 at Summit Point this past Saturday.

The camera is mounted on Chris Cooke's bike (Hollywood AM#208).  I tried something new, with a forward facing bullet cam ... worked good until the video cable wiggled out of the camera (grrr).

Chris actually scraped the camera on the track (I can't believe he got it that low ... the camera was pretty darn high ... I never scrape it that high ... sheesh).

Had no sound, so I just played a bit of Paul Okenfield to help it along. LOL.

There's a wreck in T4 (or is it 5) on the first lap.  I think it's AM#501.

Not to thread hi-jack but here is the last 6 minutes of race 8 Amateur Unlimited GTO.  Sorry there is not more footage of other riders, they were just too far in front of me...The was taken with moto com dsr-100 cam kit.  As you'll hear there are parts where I can pick up time if I would just stay on or get on the gas...First race with CCS, still learning...

Jason are you sure that was race 8 you have on video?  The GTO race was on Saturday and it was race 5

DavidV

by the way , if you got any video of race number 5, GTO on Saturday, I'd love to see it

My apologies, you are right, it was race 5 saturday.  I have the entire race but after about the first lap and a half it's just me wheeling until later when I get passed and pass.  I'll see what I can do about putting the entire race up.  My last two races 8 and 14 didn't take or I would have those to post.

Both videos were awesome.   :thumb:

The guy that went down in T5 on the first, too much trail braking?

Second with the sound is awesome.  Great to hear the bikes winding out and hear the downshifts and everything.  I aspire to get my butt out there one day.  I cornerwork to study the track and videos like that are only even more helpful to know what kind of speed I should be carrying and what gears I should be in.

Kudos to both of you.
