The reason their free for the last time is due to pressure from the other photogs that shoot at the track, which is completely justified.  But I came up with a compromise...

From now on, I'll still offer pictures BUT you will need to make a small donation to the Air Fence Fund via http://actionfund.roadracingworld.com/  on your honor.

After seeing the airfence in action, and helping setup the air fence at Summit this past weekend I know how valuable the airfence is to us road racers.  It WILL save your life!

Several sections of the airfence at Summit this past weekend were directly from the Roadracing World Action Fund.  I've sent in donations and have finally seen it in action.  My jaw dropped when I saw the Roadracing World Action Fund imprinted across the side of airfence.  It's something we all should support and take note of!

Ok, for the pics...

As always, go to:

http://webpages.atlanticbb.net/~egdemattia/ccs_summit_7-7-07/index.htm

Find your picture and e-mail me the file name for the full resolution image.  The ones on the site are low res and haven't been cleaned up yet.

The pictures are from the Amateur GTU, Expert GTU and Heavy Weight Twins races on Saturday.

Here is a link to the last Summit weekend with CCS.  These pics will be coming down very soon to make room on the server.

Nice pics! Excellent idea Yellow. I toast you sir.

Thanks, but I can't take full credit.  Pavel came up with the idea, I just implemented it first.  I'll have a banner and a sign up form setup at the WERA Nationals at Summit in August.  I hope we can raise a fair sum for the Action Fund and get some great shots in the process.  Fingers crossed!!!

Guzz is still there (http://www.steelhorsepictures.com/).  He does great work.  The guy with the black hat was there too.  I don't know his name or his web site.

I only shot those races because I race too and had to get ready myself.  That's a primary reason why I never charged for photos in the past.

Guzzler took somewhere close to 10,000 pictures over the weekend. He will be really busy for a couple of days getting them all sorted out. He is really getting good at taking action shots and for the short time he has been doing this they really look good.

The guy with the black hat is Peter Migala his site is ...

I'm sure that all of us at the track are thinking the same thing but here it is anyway.... thank you to all of the corner workers out there in the heat. we could not have had as much fun if you weren't there.

A big Amen to that. You guys rock. I don't know how the hell you stood out there all day in that heat.

A great big "your welcome" and  another great weekend of racing and a whole lot of fun.  Yes it was hot, but MARRC ALWAYS functions as a team, we look out for eachother as much as we look out for the racers.  Yes, it was hot out there but I, for one, enjoyed every minute of it (okay that is a BIT of a stretch, but was having a blast for the most part  ::)).  From my point of view, things ran unbelieveably smoothly, there were very few incidents (only one transport I believe)!  Big props to all racers and race officials
