I crashed in t5 at RA resulting in a bad collar bone break.  I would like to
thank the corner workers, you guys rock, the ambulance crew, track
personel, and the on staff DR.s. Everyone was top notch.  Having never broken anything before I never realized how helpless you are, you can't
do a damn thing.  A very big thanks to my friends Eddie Hodges and
Gregg Jones.  These guys loaded me up and took care of everything
after being released from the med shack, love you guys.  Thanks again.
The weekend wasn't a total loss though.  We had great weather and
I met some new people.   surgery next week it looks like.  Thanks
again, I almost forgot Jason Runte and Dave Satermo who also helped me out.  Please excuse spelling and any typos, pain meds combined
with one fingered typing.

Thanks,

awe Steve. Damn Man! Not sure if my buddy Spoot got this one on camera but I am sorry to hear about this.

I've shattered my right clavical before and busted my left one twice. The best advice I can give you is 1) let it heal before you go out there and start givin her hell especially with a multiple place break on the clavical. It took about a year for mine to heal until it was strong enough to fall on again (motocross)
2) get a hold of Super Dave and have him send you the link to this bone building suppliment he knows of. I can't remember the name of it right now but it helped me out last year when I dismembered my left index finger and a slew of other breaks and whatnot.

Real glad you had gotten the help you did. This sportbike racing crowd, I have found out, are a real Awesome group of people.

Heal Quick Steve!!!

Steve,

Sorry to hear about your luck....just getting over what you are now starting ( broke mine in T7 at BHF  a month ago) and you are right....the strength of this group is impressive to say the least. The cornerworkers and the med staff took great care of me and my buddies ( Matt and his kids, Jerry who was kind enough to haul me and others to the ER!) had me loaded and pointed towards home in a blink.

Go to Seacoast Vitamins website for the bone healers mentioned in the previous post:

forgot to mention the most important person who saved my ass twice this year.  ALEXA from spyderwerks leathers.
she fine tuned my Hein Gericke Celtic suit nice and snug.  The suit has held up well, no road rash.  Thanks Alexa
