Check out the march 2003 edition of RRW. In the letters to the editor, Hotbodies responded to the results of the body work comparison in the feb. issue. (Sorry I don't have time to post it.) In the letter they said they have been making some changes to prevent spider webbing. AND more importantly they said "we are willing to offer a 100% guarantee on every set of body work we sell. If you are not 100% satisfied we'll make it right, to the customer's standards, or we'll refund the purchase price." If I were you I"d be giving those guys a call. p.s. let us know what they say. ;)

Yuk :'(
Im glad someone said somthing about this.  The last thing I need is peanut-brittle body work. even if it's cheap.

I have multitec bodywork on my RC51.  I was about half the price of Sharkskins at the time, and came with a front fender. It tool a little to properly fit the stuff, but not as bad as Sharkskins.  The guy I talked to said he had three different blends to pick from.  I went with the heavy duty stuff.  Yes, It is heavy too.  But pretty flexable considering some (if not most of the panel area is 3/16-1/4" thick! EXAMPLE: The tail peace is fully inclosed, and can flex around the subframe without cracking. Strong too.  I think I will stick with him.  For a fee, he used to repair or replace it at less then the original cost, but I have not done anything to need a full overhall yet :-X  only lowsided twice, and miner highside into the grass.  no, it did'nt break(the upper), gust a miner crack. 8) although, I hard time fixing the upper support.
