RC51 gearing for Road America?
« on: June 26, 2007, 09:15:29 am »
OK, since this will be my first time on RA, what would be a good starting point for a RC51?

Thanks!

I would guess stock gearing would be a good place to start, maybe 1-2  up on the rear.  With a stock motor and a couple of minor mods I don't think the RC has enough grunt to get it to the hard limiter in 6th gear with stock gearing.  1-2 up on the rear should be able to get you right to the limiter.
