636 gearing for Road America

I'm currently set-up with -1 in the front, 43 (stock) rear....which works perfect on shorter tracks. Will this work for RA as well?

I'm thinking you might top out on the front straight with 1 down on the front, but I suppose that's all relative to how fast you are or if your drafting someone.

Road America has some really heavy braking areas, make sure your brakes are in good condition before you go.

Unless your crazy fast I would try the (-) 1 front sprocket (if it's already mounted on the bike) and see if it works for you, but many racers suggest stock gearing on most bikes as a starting point for both Road America and Daytona. I've heard of people going both up and down from their stock gearing at both of those tracks, but from what I've seen not much more than (+) or (-) 3 teeth on the rear sprocket.

On my '02 GSXR 750 I'm planning on starting with (+) 1 from stock on the rear sprocket.
