Well on Saturday at Gateway i took the TrackAddix school of speed and i am now officially able to race in CCS and its pretty exciting for me only being 16 years old. It was also the first time Ive ever ridden a bike bigger than an XR 100 and during my 2nd session i ever ran i pulled a 1:24s flat which dont get me wrong is about 12-13 seconds off race pace but i though that was pretty fast for someone whos never even ridden a big bike and never seen a track from a riders view. I was on Don Elfstroms SV650 with a superbike motor so it a mellower bike to learn on which i am fortunate about because a new rider also to the class almost highsided his 2006 CBR100rr going on to the front straight so i was happy i didnt have to worry about the bike stepping out that easy. But all day everything went well i was going pretty good right away and i was passing some people and it was a great expierence and i eventually got down to a 1:21s by the graduation race which i thought was pretty good. But i look very much forward to racing maybe towards the end of this year if not next year!!

God Bless,

Eddie, whaz up fellow CSBRacing Bro!  Congrats on the racing license, and glad Don's got ya under his wing, that there is a fast man.  It is very good to have you in the field with us, your age and enthusiasm will be a great encouragement to a lot of bros, and I look forward to see your skill, experience and faith grow.  You will meet some of the best friends you could ever ask for, and I know you will gain the respect and trust of the other racers.  See ya on the grid, Art.

Hey Eddie, great job on the riding!  You did a good job!  :thumb:
I am glad all of you guys pitted with us this weekend, it was a lot of fun.   Hope you guys make it down here again.  What happened to Pruitt on Sunday, I thought he was coming back out to watch.

1:24s flat which dont get me wrong is about 12-13 seconds off race pace...

dont get caught up in times... 11's and 12's at GIR isnt "race pace", its more like "winning race pace" on a LW.  If you go out and run low 20's on a LW you wont be last... dont wait for speed.  just get out there!

your not as far off as you think... keep pluggin away, you'll be fine.
