.........yeah i am a little late posting this   .......

but just started to put my old VHS race tapes on DVD and though i'd post a U-tube link to the 1st one I did, a LtWt SB race in the rain at Daytona, scariest race in 6 years of Fla/SE CCS racing, no rain tires and i don't try to go fast in the rain, i just try not to fall down, I was gridded 2nd row, 6th spot, 80 bike grid, 2 waves. I skipped the wet practice so the warmup lap was it for finding traction limits.
I blow the motor lap 4 of 5 in 12th or so...   highest placed EX, that's for sure... :whine:  Will post some Moroso stuff next.

here's Dec 1992 Lt Wt Superbike Moroso.  (+ a second wave of Hvy Wt Twins or Harleys)
Was my 1st year as a expert.
I had just put on the GSXR-750 front end and it was not dialed at all.  My brother beats me,  AM#93 on a FZR400 but I come in 2nd Expert with one crash ahead and took 2nd at the line.  I think the green bike that crashed was a 750 triple two stroke.
I put a track map in with the old layout.

1993 CCS/ROC Daytona Lt Wt Supertwins  (earlier in the day, before i blew the motor in LtWtSB and this ones DRY! )

I was gridded 2nd on pts but pole didn't show up and left me on pole for a near 80 bike start, mostly on Ducati's and Hawks of course.
I got a killer launch and held em all off till the banks, a high point in EX racing i am sure.....
I come around lap 1 in top 10, ended up top 20 somewhere, but way ahead of the next Ex ...check the guy on the red '88 EX, same as mine SITTING UP around the banks on some type of demented Sunday drive..

Winner if i recall was K. Watanabe from Calif on a Superhawk 750 built to the hilt, I have some complete lap footage, will do a laptime and see what he (and me) was doing but he came around lap 1 with like a 15 second lead already....

I raced ROC in 1993 in the wet on DOT's in Middleweight Supersport, as rain weren't legal for Supersport.

I did crash exiting the chicane.  I still have a burn on my rear from the heat transfer of sliding on the banking.  Didn't go through my Vanson Leathers, amazingly, but it got hot enough to leave a 9x9 inch area burned on my leathers.  Only about 2x2 inches on my ass.

Yeah i was on DOT's too and the 1st lap of the Superbike race i lost the rear coming out of the chicane, it snapped back but that took the wind of of my sails i'll tell you what..

Make sure you say Hi to ole Cheesy Keese next time you see him, tell him the Lineberger brothers say Yo, or if you forget that just say the 2 bro's with the FZR400 and super fast EX500, he'll know....
(those are all early career movies, I was kicking ass at Moroso later, down to 32's at Moroso and 16's at Daytona, on the 90's track layouts)

Moroso July 11, 1993  Sportsman + Vintage 2nd wave.

Track was semi-wet, puddles around the inside of turns, a RZ350 guy who was super fast in the wey spanks us all.
I do so/so till I almost lost it down in T-2 and go pretty slow after that. I hate a half dry track more then a wet one.
When ever I picture my self racing there's never any water in the scene.... :wtf:
