maybe i need to vent here a little... what ever happened to customer service? that's all i wanna know! (I'm not mentioning any names here so dont ask!!!) ......so 6 months ago i ordered some sprockets from the manufacturer  on contingency certs . i didn't really need them but the certs expire so why not? well @ hpt i tried to bolt one up and well... it dont fit, neither does the other 3.  i didn't think anything of it and it still seems pretty simple to me, they will just swap them out for what i ordered... right??? wrong!!!! i ordered sprockets for an 06-r6 and that's not what i got!(they fit older yamahas/r6s)   but because of the 10 day return policy they wont exchange them. :wtf: ok... yeah... its been 6 months but i dont feel it was my mistake, which the guy on the phone (who took the original order!) tried to tell me it was for not catching it sooner "maybe we need to send you a parts catalog so you know the part # for what you order"!!!!!! :wtf:  :wtf: :wtf:   like i might have accidentally ordered parts for the wrong bike ? B. S.!!!!!      am i being a bitch or was i wronged???

I had a problem with one of the sprocket companies as well. I WILL name the company, it's Vortex! I ordered 2 rear sprockets and got charged for 4 of them and have proof of it on my bank statement. Upon calling Vortex I got the run around about them only charging me for 2 of them. I told the dude B.S. I told him I would send them my bank statement showing it and he said that would be neccessary. Well, upon calling several times since they still say I was only charged for 2 sprockets. I sure wish I knew where the other $113 went to!  :wtf:

arent the R6 sprockets all the same (at least the last 2 gen's)??

I didnt think anything changed...

You're being a bitch.

Come on dude.  You have to admit some blame in this.  Granted a 10 day window is pretty tight, but 6 months is a bit beyond expectation.  What next, some guy with a 1984 GP-WHATEVER sends back a stack of unused sprockets for 'exchange'?  You have to draw the line somewhere and I wouldn't hold it against them for not returning them.

Try to find someone to swap with or sell them, but don't point the finger solely at the MFR here.

Just my $.02 since you asked...

YOU'RE being a bitch, bitch.

Rob just thinks he deserves special treatment because he has a cool trailer now, and his leathers match his bike.

But they don't know that.  For all they know you could be trying to swap out somebody's unused spares.

I buy Sprocket Specialist stuff.  It seems to last longer, and I get what I need.  And I don't have to clutter up my bike with too much stuff.  How much is a sticker worth?
