our ultralight superbike class is combined with a couple other classes into 1 race.. i wanna run my supermoto in it but want to run a race that counts to the overall points standings. I called CCS and Eric said it did count but I may not have impressed upon him the class was combined with 2 other classes.. anyone know?

Doesn't matter what races are combined with what. The results for SS classes, SB classes, GT classes, LGP, MGP and UGP are seperated out for points in each class and those classes count toward overall regional top 10 points.

Greg, maybe it's better to look at the classes that don't count toward the overall points.  Supertwins, F40, F40 LW, 125 GP...I think.

I just found out what the "combined" meant..Eric and Dave, this ultra light superbike class has AM and EXPERT riders gridded together AND SCORED together for the class championship..thanks for the explanation on the fact that given being run with other classes it is scored separate, but how about the fact that AM riders as well as EXPert run and are scored for the individual class together?

I would think that that situation you are addressing is really only of concern to the Amateurs whose points will be diluted by the fact that they must give away the podium to the Experts. You as an Expert will not see your standings affected (or should not unless there are some sandbagging Amateurs out there) as I would hope that the Experts take the podium and you are racing against the other Experts for the Overall.

Just my  2 cents, oh and I should think if the Amateurs are knocking the Experts off the podium they'll have a REALLY hard time remaining Amateurs.
