what if to determine there is a problem consists of spending half of what the cost of said part would cost to replace?  Do you roll the dice on assessing damage and repairing the original component?  or call it a loss and purchase the new part?

Speaking of in over your head... My motor is out and I'm thinking "how the hell am I gonna put this back together..."

Just twist the throttle and squeeze the brake...That's what I do anyway :thumb:

That almost cost me a knee once...  I'll never bed in brake pads that way again...

How about the ever more common "Fake it, till you make it" philosophy? That seems to work pretty damn good in business nowadays!  :ahhh:
