Yes..sooo many children..and not allowed to destroy them. Apparently the school district frowns on such behavior :err:

Teachers are not on vacation during the summer months. They are unemployed. You get paid during summer if you choose to have your pay spread over the entire year. You do not get vacation time to use as you wish. You may get personal days that have restrictions on how they can be used.

No you don't want that!  Speaking from experience, you give up a little of your sanity each year you work at a school.  At least at the high school level.  Hey...maybe that explains alot about me.  LOL
