One year a person who will remain nameless had a bike that stopped running.  The individual immediately began dismantling the engine.  I think he got the valve cover off and was preparing to remove the cylinder heads when the original owner got wind of what was going on, and asked did you check to see if you had gas in the tank?
Didn't I read about that in a book somewhere?
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

:err:

Hhhhummmm, list of things to do:
1) write something stupid.
2) post it
3) wait for someone to point out your stupidity.
4) proof read the crap you wrote.
5) put self on potatohead list.

Ahhhhh...stupid writing would get you a list a mile long. The deed must be exceptional. Something like coming to the track to race and forgetting to load your bike.

No, no one has done it that I know of, but they could, and it would be classic.

Do or do not, there is no "try".

Were it that simple I would be a shoo-in Alexa. Some weekends I not sure how I remember to bring myself, I don't think I have EVER managed to get to the track with everything I was supposed to bring let alone all the stuff I meant to bring.

No one has ever reawarded the Potato Head to himself at the end of the year.  THAT would take a TRULY EPIC boo boo, like say, accidentally backing over your glorious mentor's A Superbike with your truck and reducing it to dust....

Oh man, thinking about things like that could be like a self-fulfilling prophecy.  Don't want to go there; don't want to go there....

Yes...I think I read that somewhere too.  I'm not sure, but I may know the author, and the alleged racer who did that.
