I think he said he clipped the curbing in the chicane stepping out the back end, started to come back in line about the time he hit the banking...

He was bruised but OK. 

From what I heard, one guy was pretty hurt.  Said he was transported to Granite City, then flown to St Louis.  Don't know who he was or what his injuries are.
