talladega lap times

What are competative lap times at Talladega on a 600?  some guy timed me at 1:05 but I have no idea.  I don't race, but if I did I would like to know that I wouldn't be a hazard on the track being too slow.

Fast Novice times are 1:02 some 1:01.  Fast Experts are :59 and faster.  1:05 is a respectable time.  You would not be a hazard at all.  Just hold your line.  It is the faster person's responsibility to get by you.  At 1:05 you probably would not get lapped by the leaders unless you were in a GT race.  I have been lapped there plenty of times running 1:05 and slower and never had any complaints.
