Sure do...first we should figure out how to run them?  1000W draw...power inverters go that high?  I'll have to check.

Super Dave

You going to invert off a running vehicle?  Borrow a generator.

Still, what tires are you running?  Some don't need warmers a much as others.

Invert of my truck.  I'm running Pilot Powers.  Thanks again guys.

Jeff

LEACH POWER... power is always available to a person who has a 100' extension cable and some gas or a few bucks.  Don't bother with an inverter or holding off because you can't afford a genny...  Buy the warmers and figure it out as you go along.

Pilot Powers have no mold release.  Pilot Powers aren't so critical for warm up by design.

But the potential cooler weather will make it a kind of nice to have some heat in the tires early on because you probably won't get much heat in them during any session.  But the nice thing is that the Powers' just don't need so much heat.

I'm with Jeff on the warmer idea with an extension cord if you can get it done.  If not, well, just take your time again.

Also, please understand that tires get heat on the track due to FLEXING.  You won't put ANY heat in a tire by weaving back/forth.  In fact, you'll LOSE heat.

The best way to my knowledge, to generate heat QUICKLY on the track is through HARD accelleration and HARD braking.

Scrub them in on the hot-lap and they are ready to go all-out.  I've done it all the time.
