Any Birmingham~Atlanta guys willing to share travel costs to Heartland Park Topeka, KS?

I'm only doing the Solo Challenge and have to be at work the following monday. My race is on Friday, so not sure how it will all work out.

I don't have much equipment, just me, my girl, bike and camping equipment.

Its quite a distance to travel, 900~1000mi... So it would be nice to know if others from the area are going just to see if its possible to cut costs or have back-up plans.

I live in Anniston, AL.

PM me or reply to this post.

thanks,

I know a few guys down Atlanta way who'd probably have room for your girl....
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Man, camping there in a tent sucks!  So damn windy!  Make sure you stake that tent down well!

John's right, the track does rock.

This won't help you out any but if you get something going I will chip in $150 in gas money if you bring my (large) toolbox to HPT. It is at my sister's house in Alpharetta, GA.

How large is the tool box? dimensions? approx weight?

It is a lower rolling 13 drawer cabinet. 53" long, 39" high, 20" deep.  About 350lbs. empty. (which it is)

I'll see what I can do... But unless I team up with someone, it isn't fitting in my trailer.
