Do or do not, there is no "try".

I can see clearly now the bridge is gone, I can see all obstacles..ahem racers in my way.  The funny thing is turn 13 is just about the same radius as the carousel 550' vs. 525' it just goes up instead of down.

Been watching the progress. So far it looks good. Run off room!!!

I just hope the the paving over the new tunnel is done right so there are no bumps or anything going into 14.........

We just need a jump over the tunnel. Hope they get the height of the underpass correct. Would be cool to put a see-thru ceiling, watch the bikes go by from underneath.

First, I have to say it's fantastic that RA has made such huge investments over time to make the track safer. George and crew deserve plenty of credit for that.

But somehow I feel like a bit of the character of the track is slowly eroding with each change.

Call me crazy, but I really miss the kink. It was (is) a classic high speed/high risk corner that demanded respect; a place where talent, set up and guts combined to separate the faster from the merely fast. Is the bend safer? Absolutely. Would I ever want to crash in the kink? Nope. But I still miss it.

And I bet I'll miss going under that bridge too. I may not miss the feeling of the bike getting a little nervous and loose directly under the bridge, but I will surely miss the sound of the booming echo of my engine as I pass under it and accelerate towards T14.

Yep, I'll miss the bridge, despite the fact that we'll all be safer without it.
