What if I had never tried it?

Got it, read some, put it down and never picked it up again.  That's not a real criticism though since I do that with nearly every book.  I used to be a voracious reader but unfortunately long hours, a family and a huge commute changed that.

Anyone notice that this thread has like 375 views?

With a title of "What if I'd never tried it?" I guess it peaks interest.

If his racing was on the same level as his writing, he'd be a sixth year yellow-plater riding a clapped out FZR in LW class (IMHO...). LOL.

The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

So I'm at the Amazon site checking to see if my book is still on there, and I also go to look at Rossi's new book.  Amazon has a spot where it says, "Customers who bought this book also bought..."
Well, I kept scrolling, and the last book on the list was Highside.  Now I can actually say that Rossi and I get mentioned in the same discussion.  I'm reminded of that scene from the old Steve Martin movie when he saw his name in the phone book for the first time.
I'M SOMEBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
