When your friends pool together some money to buy you a racebike for your birthday so you don't ride 'the ghetto 1995 YZF 600' another season, what word can you say in humbled appreciation that would measure up to such a gesture?  Also, starting this season, I had no idea that a guy just getting his racer license would ask me to help him race his 2006 Kawasaki 636 in the Team Challenge races. I was a little nervous, but it was a brand spankin' new 2006 636!  How could I refuse?  I am glad I did and I owe the experience to Jason Gibbens, and his good friend William.  Much appreciation goes to Ed Rodriguez for successfully filling in for Jason at VIR, and a big thank you, Eric Sampson, for stepping in last minute to help us finish the season at Daytona with a number eight plate for the overall Team Challenge series and helping FLC3 to secure second place in the GTU National Team Challenge.

I still have a lot to learn and I seem to learn the hard way, but I wouldn't take a second of any part of this season back.  Thank you especially to my sponsor, Fast Lane Cycles, and most importantly, my Sweetheart, Richard Beggs, who helped me to piece my bike back together every time I decided to throw it down, without complaint.  Thank you to my cohorts, Team Charm's (what an oxymoron!) Brian Summers, Steven Harris, and guilty by association, Eric Knight, for their input, advice, and warnings.   To Kevin Tate and Cabrinha for getting my back.  A big kiss to my biggest fan, my sister, Rebecca, my ambulance driver, and her man, Justin, for all their help in the pits, along with Shane Gillett.  Also thanks to my other fans, especially the MARRC corner workers that scraped me and my bike off the track time and time again, Christos Liropoulos, Jeff Yeutter, Mike Pepple, Karl Tonge, Milchak, Jon Stewart, Cardoso, The Johns, Alex and Catherine Collier, Nate Foster, The Leicesters, Susan Cippolini, Brandy Dixon, Stephen Kim, Dan Cohen, and Scott Santiago, and The Fishers.

Let's see what I can do next year!   :thumb:
