Maybe but Ducati signed Stoner...  I guess the goal is to keep making Loris look as good as possible... but I do think Loris will top alot of podiums next year... not to take anything away from Casey of course...

Nor in the New York Times (which did not one but two stories about Nicky the US round out here at Laguna).  Unbelieveable. :wtf:

That was one heck of a race. I may be a Rossi fan but I was glad to see him finally lose. Congrats to Nicky and can't wait to see what happens next seasion

I don't understand why you people find it so amazing there is no mainstream coverage of Nicky's championship. This country is cage oriented and could give a shit less about anything on two wheels unless it's a chrome plated tractor. :jerkoff:

Get over it already, we'll never be mainstream and quite frankly I like it this way.

Congrats to Nicky!  Until Rossi went down, Nicky was closing in on Bayliss.  I think he would have had something for him.  At least the way things ended, the Pedrosa incident nor the yellow flag incident decided the championship.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jay Leno invite him to be on his show.  He's had all the Hayden boys on there before.

I saw a quick little blurb on the news here in West Palm Beach Channel 12 which is one of the local tv channels here. At least there is a little press of Nicky Hayden winning the Championship in the mainstream sports news. How cool is that??
