I hope you stick with the 125 I don't need you Adam and Steve kicking my butt with the 250's next year.

I do not buy into the "home track advantage..."  But I will chime in and say that the race being held in FL attracts alot more FL region racers than racers from any other region!   So that being said....  FL riders would in theory have the best chance of winning races.  Make no mistake.. you have to be a fast rider on fast equipment to win at the Daytona ROC.  Congrats to all that won national championships!

I had a wopping 13 laps of practice for the team hammer day....only three were hot laps. The rest of the laps were just heading out on the track to pickup the pace...then a red flag. Practice each morning was a joke...we were lucky to get three laps :kicknuts:

There is no doubt that those in Florida or regions close to the track have a home track advantage. But what do I know....I only took the podium twice out of three races :boink:

How about this....Thursday I was able to get three really good laps the whole day due to crashes/red flags...constantly. The half hour Hammer class didnt help matters out either.

Friday, saturday and Sunday....if you got three laps total to warm up in the morning practice...you were lucky.

and was still able to kick ass!

That just proves that just about anybody with a fast bike can do pretty good at Daytona and there is no "home track advantage" :jerkoff:!

I gotta agree with you about the fast bikes on the banks. But...out of the top five of each of the classes I rode I had the slowest bike.  :kicknuts:

Lets face it bud...your florida boys didnt give me much trouble. Home track advantage or not :lmao:

Horrible....56's or something lame like that. I would get past several riders in the infield...only to have them pass me on the banks (I gave up 4 positions on the banks in one lap in the SS race). Then of course they would park it in the chicane and every turn in the infield. I'd pass them again....rinse/repeat. I couldnt get a clean lap...peroid. Label this stuff as excuses. If I had the right package (ie hp, didnt weigh 235lb, and the right gearing and balls)...I would have won the damned races!

Next year I'll be on a 190hp bike...then we will see who gets passed on the banks!!!
