....like good books on the NY Times best seller's list.
....home improvement ideas.
....sites that offer helpful advice as to bike setup and trouble shooting.

Do you need any more ideas?

Me too.. I'm dying here waiting. I've been checking this site constantly hoping Tiff would post something. Paul will be expert this year  ;D.  As for me.. I'll be amateur again since last year was my first year and I sucked. :)

This was our second year of racing and we did OK.  Before sending in our letter along with our renewal we talked it over and this is some of the reason's why we sent in our letter.

We race an SV - So does, Ed Key, Mike Reibe, Edgar Dorn, just to name a few.  Paul's a big guy, plus we can't afford to stick the money into the bike like some of the others.  So..... we send in our please, please, please keep me an Amature letter in the hope that we could make as many of the races as we can and possibly get the AM LWSS championship.

We'll have to see.

Me:  Pacing the floor in the living room watching John pacing the floor in the garage because there's too much floor space in there because a certain race bike is 3 hours away in SOMEBODY ELSE'S garage being touched by SOMEBODY ELSE's wrenches...  You should see the dirty looks I get when he asks me when she will be coming home!
CCS AM 815... or was that 158?

Quotea certain race bike is 3 hours away

Only 3 hrs?  I'm jealous.  My engine is on the other side of the country!  (Literally...I'm in AZ, it's in MA).  And a bike with a hole where the engine used to be isn't very fun to play with.

I think I'll re-arrange the tote bins that have all the race stuff in them.  And the toolbox.  And my sock drawer.

Only 44 more days until race day  :-/

John - LOL!!!!

I offered to take Paul's SV to the dealership to have the valve lash checked and the carbs sincronized (spelling ?).  He shot me a look and said, "No one's touching that bike.  I will do it."  :o

I was just trying to be nice since he works six days a week.

At least you have too much time.  My race is next weekend and I was just told that the top-end parts that I NEED aren't here from Japan yet.  They are supposed to be here next week so I get to change out my top end immediately after getting to the track.  Next year I will make sure to have at least 5 or 6 bikes ready so this never happens again :).

Is that wishful thinking, if not, could you use another rider for one of those bikes?
