Rich WU! Thats who da man!  I hope you didn't miss it, cause Rich did a smackdown on the lightweights at MAM in supersport, including me.  I've never been so happy to finish second, but I couldn't help but smile when I saw Rich's enthusiam after his last lap heroics which took him from 3rd to 1st.  Awesome job-you earned it!

Ok, so some random thoughts.....

Chris Chase and Becka Caudle both said they were going to Daytona, so best of luck to both of you.

I really have had a great year getting to know and race with the lightweight crowd.  I hope you will all be back next year, and if you are considering a white plate, go for it!

Tracy Edwards-my hometown buddy.  I hope you give it another try next year, I know you have more in you.

Nick Spooner-don't sell the SV! it is too much fun having you out there with us.

Rich Wu-don't even think about selling the SV.

Becka Caudle-awesome year, your really have proven yourself as a racer, and you'd look marvelous with white plates.

Chris Chase-that Hyosoung is bad ass.  Congrats to you and the TulsaCycleSupply guys.  I've really enjoyed the racing and jaw-jacking.  Do not, I repeat, do not petition to stay a yeller-belly.

Ben Probst-I'm glad I met you at Topeka, and sorry I didn't have a chance to BS at MAM, but I was having Shock and brain issues.  Good job on your races and qualifying at MAM.  I hope you can make more of the events next year, or are you midwest?

Matt McNall-you are alright for a MW guy.  I'm glad you took the initiative to come over for some of the GP races.  I really enjoyed talking with you, and you still can do some crazy lap times.

Hector St. John-ace the 125 and get a SV.  Your power to weight ratio would be insane.

Rios, Porter, and the rest of the LW crowd.  I hope to get around to meeting you guys next year.  It was great to see you guys on track!

See you all next year!  :thumb:

Uhmm, looking at Mylaps, Ben Probst started, but DNF with no lap time(1st lap crash?).  The only other starter was Brian Lacy who is shown with 2 laps completed, and is the only classified finisher, so looks like he is the winner.

Yup, I had my second mysterious rain crash of the weekend. Very strange for me as I am generally very fast and comfortable in the rain, i got the lead on Brian and held it going into the left kink (4?) when the front end dissapeared before I even had the thing leaned over, too bad, I felt confident I could at least push Brian in the rain be he kept it upright and took home the two hundred dollars. Anyway, had a blast in superbike with you Brock, you may not have seen me but I along with the other am sv guy (svraceshop) were shadowing you as we were running down spooner, I had my pass attempt planned out when the skies opened up and off went spooner and the sv race shop guy (sorry i dont know your name). Anyway, hopefully Ill see you guys some next year, but I am mw, and also will be running mostly wera I think, but ya never know.

Yup the weekend had some up and downs, sadly it ended on two downs so it sucked. Qualifying second behind Brian was pretty cool considering I had never seen the track before and only got to practice in the freezing cold, and I was very happy with the race I ran in the superbike race. But anyway, no i wont have white plates next year, I think I should be allowed two years as an AM. next year will be the year to shoot for championships then its on to the big bikes with white plates.

Thanks Jack that was the best race I had all year.  Made up for all the crappy grids all year long. Even fighting Spooner I've never worked that hard for a win before.  (probably because most of the time he wins)

I was hoping that Spooner and I would put on a show in the Superbike race, but once it started misting I couldn't see so I backed off to about a two minute lap time.   I knew I had the championship since Greg didn't make the grid - even if I came in last Spooner wouldn't have made enough points.

I put on rains, but I didn't want to end my season throwing it down. I ended up not gridding for the LWGP or the shootout. I thought there was no way in hell Jamie Hall would beat Lacy, so I told him I'd pay his bar tab this Thursday if he did. Well I guess Lacy isn't that good in the rain and although it was Jamie's first time in the rain he definitely made it look easy.  Hope he doesn't drink too much, I already broke from this season.

I'm still undecided for next year.....buy an R6 and get my a$$ handed to me?  Buy a new SV? Keep my ghetto SV and sell a kidney so I can have an R6?  Got all winter to think about it.

Had a great time fighting you guys all year and Jack I'm glad you took your white plate.

Chase if you even dream of keeping that yellow plate another year I'll tell Hyosung all the bad stuff you've been saying about their bikes......lets see you get another motor from them after that!

Sounded like a wild weekend. Wish I could have been there. Congrats to all the Championship winners!!

Somebody I forgot to mention is Anthony Dean.  I did get a chance to talk with him at Hastings and he is a super nice guy.  Dean said he had to leave MAM to go be with his dad who was having open heart surgery.  I hope and pray that everthing went well for his father.

Thanks Jack, leaving for Daytona today, I brought a new fuel pump and hope it cures the Korean twin from it's problems it had at MAM. I have all winter to make this thing faster so I can try to beat you! I will stock up on some tires in case you need to borrow some.

Rich, been a great season, congrats on the championships. Great job in the SS race at MAM, Red Bull must really work! I think you can change your signature to say your an expert now, unless AM means something else. BTW I would not even think about keeping my yellow plates, I am tired of sucking your exhuast fumes from the AM grid :wah:. Keep your SV, forget about the R6!

Becca, congrates on the LW SB championship. See you on the grid at the ROC.

Anthony, hope everything went well with your dads surgery, I was really looking forward to our last race in Thunderbike, I am sure it would have been intersting as it was cold and rainy.

Ben, Tracy, Kevin, Nick, and all the other LW's, great season and see you in 2007. :thumb:

Thanks All,

My dad is stable and doing well.  We will learn today if he has to have a second surgery for a Pace Maker.  He was pretty upset with me for not flying back on Sunday and running the LWSB and Thunderbike races.  But it was more important to be with him and my mother.   Maybe I will use it to get some cool racing Xmas gifts this year from them.

Hope everyone travels safe to Daytona and runs well.  Sorry I can't be there.

See you all next season.

I know a lot of us will be White Plate next year so Rich and Nick you better watch out.  We aren't going to give you any 10-15 second head starts anymore.

A Big Thanks to Ben Probst and his Uncle for taking care of my truck and trailer and getting it back to STL in one piece and with my bikes, tires, spares, fuel, etc....  I was half afraid that everyone would think it was from the taking.
