Actually, the weekend did not go very well.
Fri-Sunday my 750 would just shut off in the middle of the race. I would have to ride off in the grass, pull in the clutch, turn the key off, back on and re-start the bike. We changed everything on the bike: tip over switch, fuel pump, power commander, shifter, etc. I went from 10th to 2nd. The bike died. Restarted went from 7th to 2nd again and it died again. This happened in every race I was in.

Same thing in the 750 cup race. Died going down the esses, and could only make it up to 8th.
In the 600 cup, my clutch started slipping on lap 2, and completly lost the clutch going down the back straight with a lap to go.

Hey at least I didn't crash (that's a first for this year)

Yeah, I saw some things in RRW that made me wonder.

How was the endurance race?

Yeah the mechanicals were a drag. I would rather have a twisted bike that I can identify than the electrical issues we couldn't figure out.
The endurance went well. Matt Lynn took us from last to 14th overall in his stint, and I took us from 14th to 9th overall (3rd in class). We ended up 3rd in Middleweight Superstock. I look foreward to racing endurance in that series next year. Racing endurance (at pretty much full tilt, on very used tires) is a nice change from the 8 lap CCS races i'm use to.

Andy, I chased a similar problem a few years ago which ultimately was found to be the Power Commander tripping a thermal cut-off in it.  By the time I got stopped and flipped the switch it would cool enough to restart.  And the bitch is that it would ONLY die while coming INTO a corner.  High RPM's from downshifting, reduced wind movement because of the bike slowing and pop, there she'd go...

I tried everything, and narrowed it to the PC-III.  talked to the engineers from dynojet who confirmed there was a thermal cut-off which could be the culprit.  Moved the PC-III and haven't had a problem since.

Not sure if that would be applicable to you, but figured I'd share nonetheless...

It can also be caused by a bad throttle position sensor.
