Daul Sport ride in Costa Rica

I have been in contact with the owner of Moto Tours Costa Rica and have gotten us a discount for their tour. The "Cornerspeed" week would be from December 10th through the 16th. This is their deluxe tour and includes the use of a bike (2005 KTM 640 EX/C or 450 EX/C), lodging, breakfast and lunch. This is a guided tour through most of Costa Rica. The regular price for this trip is $1999.00 we can get it for $1499.00. You are responsible for your own airfare to San Jose CA, currently a non stop flight from Charlotte NC is $500.00 plus tax. They will also provide a chase truck to carry our luggage. This tour consists of about 25% rural paved roads, 25% gravel roads and 50% dirt roads. No single track but it is a very challenging trip and offroad ability is needed. You do need a passport and a $300.00 deposit each is required. For those of you planning on riding with Moto Tours Costa Rica December 10-16, its time to sign-up. The earlier we can get this taken care of, the better accommodations we can secure. The ride is $1499 per person and includes a guide (old road racer), bike, fuel, lodging, breakfast, lunch and a support vehicle. You are responsible for airfare, dinner, alcohol and any extra curricular activities. A $300.00 deposit by check or major credit card is required with the balance due at least 30 days prior to the tour.

Can't go, but I have envy, this would be a really fantastic trip. Costa Rica is the coolest. Just a comment on the "rural paved roads" - you need offroad experience to drive on those too. The potholes there are the size of busses.
